Rescue Story
Maia is an approximately 2-year-old golden-shaded British Shorthair. She was found living as a stray in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. At the time, she was very thin and appeared to have an upper respiratory infection.
After her rescue, Maia was taken to a veterinary hospital for examination and treatment. She has since recovered and has been spayed. Her physical exam results were good, and her cardiac ultrasound showed no concerning findings.
Maia is gentle, affectionate, and very people-oriented. She enjoys being around people and likes having company.
Maia will be coming to the San Francisco Bay Area in early November 2026 to find her permanent home.
