Our Story
7Paws Foundation began with a shared love for Persian and Exotic Shorthair cats.
Like many cat lovers, we started by helping one cat, then another, and before long we realized how many were still waiting.
Across China, countless Persian and Exotic Shorthair cats are abandoned because of medical needs, neglect, or changing circumstances. Many never receive the care they deserve.
We founded 7Paws to support the people already doing the difficult work on the ground — dedicated rescuers who spend their own time, energy, and resources saving these cats every day.
Together, we help provide veterinary care, rehabilitation, foster support, and, whenever possible, the opportunity for these cats to begin new lives with families in the United States.
We know we can't save every cat. But for the cats we do reach, everything changes.
Our Mission
To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Persian and Exotic Shorthair cats in need by partnering with rescue volunteers in China and, whenever possible, placing them in loving homes in the United States.
Our Vision
A world where no Persian or Exotic Shorthair cat is left behind because they were unwanted, abandoned, or born in the wrong place.
